Amelia studied in Salzburg, Austria during the Spring 2023 semester with Global Partner AIFS. She is a Marketing and German major and lived in a university residence hall.
How was the city?
"I fell in love almost instantly. The public transportation system in Salzburg was very easy to use and navigate, the restaurants were in close walking distance to our dorms, and the history of the city was palpable"
How was the transition?
"I felt somewhat prepared for the immersion into the Austrian culture and German language thanks to my studies of Germany. That being said, classroom German and real world German are very different."
