Throughout my time at the University of Salamanca, I can see why it’s called the “Golden City.” Summer in Salamanca is incredibly vibrant, with the international student community fully immersed in the open-air events organized by the university. During my stay in Salamanca, I was able to participate in guided city walks, museum visits, tapas tours, and Spanish cooking and dance classes. The highlight of my study abroad experience was my homestay with a Spanish family. I utilized my Spanish speaking skills and met a family that embraced me as if I were their own.”. It offered me a deep dive into the local culture and language, and I feel like my Spanish skills have improved significantly as a result.
