My experience in London has been amazing, I’m so happy I decided to study abroad! I’ve made some great friends and memories here. I’ve always wanted to study abroad and I’m so happy I chose London because it’s such an amazing city. You never run out of things to do here. From the markets, to the parks, to the museums, and restaurants, London has so much to offer. There’s something for everyone here. Its also so easy to travel across Europe from London, but when I did travel, I almost always found myself missing London as it became such a home away from home. I feel so lucky to have found someplace so far that’s felt like home for a little while. London is such a good home base because it’s an English speaking country so it’s easy to navigate, it has great public transportation, it’s so diverse, and it’s a lot of fun!

My favorite things to do in London are going to the markets and the parks. I never expected a major city to have such big beautiful parks but London has some of the best ones!

My classes in London are a Museum’s class, a food class, a monarchy class, and two psychology classes: the science of wellbeing and theories of personality. They are each 3.5 hours long, which seems like a lot but once you’re in them they go by really quickly. We’re either always going on field trips or we’re engaged in activities and discussions. We only have each class once a week and classes Monday-Thursday, which makes it easier if you want to do any weekend traveling. Some of the courses are definitely challenging, but I’ve felt well prepared for them and the professors are amazing!
