Casey is studying at the University of Galway for the entirety of the Fall 2023 semester. She is living in a flat on campus with three other girls, each having their own rooms. The flat includes a bathroom, kitchen, and laundry. So far, she has loved living in a brand new building and exploring campus.
Favorite part so far
Using her time off to plan trips to different countries and explore the local Irish towns.
How have classes been?
"I am loving my classes so far! It was definitely an adjustment to the class sizes because of the classes here are lecture halls so I usually have at least 50 people in each of my classes and I am used to smaller class sizes. However, the instruction is clear to follow and the classes are very interesting."
How was the transition?
"My first impression of Galway was how beautiful it was. I was definitely feeling nervous when I first got here because it was my first time alone in a different country but I got adjusted within the week once I found a good group of friends and got more comfortable with campus and the town!"
