Split into two four week summer sessions, College Year Athens (CYA) provides students with the opportunity to explore Athens, Greece, and it's surrounding regions. With an approach towards on-site learning, students are faced with engaging lessons that often involve them being fully immersed in the land around them. This program is offered to all majors.
"My experience in Greece was one I will never forget. I took “Excavating the Aegean: the Despotiko Field School,” where I had the opportunity to study archeology and excavate on a Greek island, something I never thought I would be able to do as an accounting and business analytics double major. The experience was truly remarkable; from engaging in such an immersive study to participating in cultural meals and activities and being able to travel to different islands -- I had the best time. As a class, we traveled to several islands, including Paros, Mykonos, Delos, Antiparos, and Despotiko to explore their ruins, food, and beautiful sights. There are so many opportunities for individuals to explore the country’s culture and history, and I absolutely recommend you go!"
