Molly spent the entirety of the Spring 2023 semester at the Florence University of the Arts in the Fashion Marketing Program. She lived in a shared apartment with eight girls total, each had a shared bathroom. Kitchens are fully equipped which made it easy to eat in her apartment. Her favorite part was going on a solo trip to Rome and seeing all the sights the city had to offer.
How were the classes?
"These classes were mostly related to fashion which was my concentration and I learned a lot about the city, it's shops and it's artisans through these courses. We got to meet local shop owners first-hand and talk to them about their experiences. My weekends started on Thursday, providing me with lots of time to travel."
How was the transition?
"When I first arrived in Florence, I was really taken aback by the city's architecture. I was really nervous that I would not learn how to navigate the city's streets but I was excited to see what the experience had to offer!"
